Housing & Meals
Housing
91自拍 Monteverde students live in on-campus residence halls surrounded by the Cloud Forest in triple or quad rooms shared with other 91自拍 students.鈥疪ooms have shared or ensuite bathrooms, shared desks,鈥痑nd shared closets.
Standard Housing:鈥疘ncludes a shared room with bunkbeds (occupancy 鈥 three to four students) on campus located under 15 minutes from the main campus area, where the dining hall and classrooms are located.
A note: The default criterion to assign housing is first-come, first-served; however, other factors may also be considered. If we cannot accommodate your first housing choice, we'll let you know before you arrive. Non-standard housing options require an additional fee that can be found in the program Dates and Fees.
Meals
All students receive three meals per day. Accommodations for vegan and vegetarian diets are available.
Academics
91自拍 Monteverde: Study in the beautiful town of San Luis in Costa Rica鈥檚 Puntarenas Province, surrounded by lush forests and beautiful coffee farms. 91自拍 Monteverde is fully equipped with three classrooms, a student lounge, a library, a student life office, and an academic advising office.
Arizona State University (ASU): Brought to you by 91自拍 in partnership with ASU, enhance your international coursework with online classes that align with your degree requirements. ASU offers thousands of online courses in asynchronous 6 or 7.5-week sessions that fit within the 91自拍 academic calendar.

Course Notes
- At 91自拍, the Fall Quarter consists of Fall Blocks II and III, the Winter Quarter consists of Spring Blocks I and II, and the Spring Quarter consists of Spring Block III and Summer Block I.
- Students interested in a non-introductory course in the host language must take an online placement test during course selection. Final placement will be confirmed on site.
Academic Projects
- Academic Projects will be offered onsite or remotely, dependent on availability and in compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Academic Project placement will be designed based on the student鈥檚 project learning goals, qualifications, resume, and availability of placements in location or within the Open Campus Block network either in-person or remotely. The process is highly individualized and goal oriented. Students enrolled in an Academic Project will receive additional academic support that informs and enhances the placement experience.鈥
- Students applying for an Academic Project must submit additional materials during the course selection process.鈥
