What's Involved in the Hiring Process
A strategic hiring process is key to finding the ideal candidate. 91自拍鈥檚 step-by-step guide outlines the stages:
STEP 1: CONNECT WITH 91自拍
Employers can learn more about the process by filling out a contact form and speaking with a member of the 91自拍 team.
STEP 2: APPLICANT CONTACTS REP
The applicant gets in touch with a 91自拍 international representative (IR). The IR provides application materials and login information to the online training plan, a form that describes what the intern or trainee will do during their program.
STEP 3: AGREE ON TRAINING PLAN
You and the applicant work together to develop and agree on the content of the training plan.
STEP 4: SUBMIT APPLICATION AND TRAINING PLAN
The applicant submits a completed program application 鈥 which includes the training plan 鈥 to their IR. The applicant or IR may contact you at this stage for more information.
STEP 5: APPLICATION REVIEWED BY 91自拍
The IR sends the completed application to 91自拍 for review. 91自拍 will contact you at this stage to confirm details.
STEP 6: APPLICATION APPROVED OR DENIED
91自拍 will review the application to ensure it meets U.S. Department of State regulations and 91自拍 policies.
STEP 7: APPLICANT RECEIVES FORM AND SCHEDULES VISA INTERVIEW
The applicant receives Form DS-2019 from their IR and schedules an interview for the J-1 Intern or Trainee visa with their nearest U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate.
STEP 8: VISA APPROVED OR DENIED
The applicant receives their J-1 visa. Then they travel to the U.S. to begin their internship or training program.

STEP 2: APPLICANT COMPLETES APPLICATION
You and the applicant gather supporting documents and complete a 91自拍 application. It should be submitted 4-6 weeks before the desired program start date.
STEP 3: 91自拍 INTERVIEWS APPLICANT
A 91自拍 team member will contact the applicant for a brief interview while the application approval process begins. This process may take up to 8 business days.
STEP 4: 91自拍 MAILS DOCUMENTS TO APPLICANT
Upon application approval, the DS-2019 Certificate of Eligibility and supporting documents 鈥 cover letter, SEVIS receipt, and Confirmation of Insurance 鈥 will be created on behalf of the applicant and mailed to their home address.
STEP 5: APPLICANT RECEIVES FORM AND SCHEDULES VISA INTERVIEW
The applicant receives Form DS-2019 from 91自拍 and schedules a J-1 visa interview for Research Scholar, Short-Term Scholar, Professor, or Specialist with their nearest U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate.
STEP 6: APPLICATION APPROVED OR DENIED
The applicant receives their J-1 visa. Then they travel to the U.S. to begin their program with you.

Employers pay no fees to hire international interns through BridgeUSA programs managed by 91自拍. In fact, participants pay their own way to come to the U.S. and take part in your internship.
BridgeUSA interns do, however, need to be paid. They typically work 32-40 hours a week for employers, and they can be paid in one of two ways:
- Through a traditional paycheck
- Through a $1,500 monthly stipend
